Case For Support

UCM’s vision:

Sharing the love of Jesus and the hope He brings

UCM’s vision is to follow the example Jesus gave while here on earth to feed and educate with love and show to the children He wants a relationship with each of them. “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” (Luke 18:16)

UCM’s mission:

To feed and educate less-fortunate children, pay staff salaries, and construct school facilities which serve the community and the church

UCM’s mission begins with feeding the children in a school, creating a

free Christian-based education in which the staff are paid and when

necessary, renovating the existing school building or building a new school facility.

UCM’s core values:

Christian faith, Integrity, Compassion and Giving children a chance

UCM is a Christ-centered mission which has a passion for children to receive an education to propel them into better futures for themselves and their families.

The Need:

UCM enters the gap when a Christian school in a 3rd world country, desires to live out the Gospel by meeting the needs in their community but encounters financial hardship while meeting the needs of the staff and students in its care.

What UCM does:

UCM provides for the basic needs of a school in Liberia by paying staff salaries, providing two meals per school day for the students and the staff, paying for the building maintenance and much more.

Why UCM:

UCM is a small Christian charity who is providing an education and nutrition to children who would not otherwise receive it.

What UCM delivers:

With a target annual budget of $120,000, UCM delivers monthly, education-specific, funds to cover the basic needs of the school.

How UCM does this:

UCM has a small base of sponsors who give on a monthly or yearly basis, which covers the basic expenses of the Liberian school. Campaigns and walkathons help cover the rest of the mission's fundamental needs.

How UCM is unique:

UCM is committed to sending 100% of the sponsor's monthly donations to Liberia for the operation of the school. This leaves us with the need to raise the funds for the administration costs of the mission as well as any extra projects the school would benefit from. (It is important to note that all those working for UCM are volunteers.)

UCM’s community:

UCM’s community includes those who wish to see the children in our school receive a Christian-based education. This community stands with and mobilizes their resources in support of UCM so all of the basic needs of the school are met.
