Liberian School Christmas Party
Each year we love to give money towards a fun filled Christmas party for the school. The staff purchases party hats, small gifts, a special food item and extra food for the children to take home to cook with their families. We give each staff member a $20 Christmas bonus. This party can only happen with the generous donations of our supporters. Please consider giving to this years Christmas party. We are trying to raise $3000 CAN.
Educational Supplies
Our Liberian students have a real desire to be at school and learn. They know that education is the key to improving their futures. Having up-to-date learning materials is the key to a great education. Let’s be the difference for these children today.
Each school year approximately $2800 is collected and sent for the educational supplies for our school in Liberia.
At the moment we provide basic items like material for their uniforms, copy books for the students, teacher plan books, pens, pencils, chalk, reading books, physical education t-shirts, and paper.
Future goals:
to provide money for teacher resources ($1000)
to provide money for textbooks for the older students ($1000)
Help us help the children in our school to achieve all they can with quality resources.

Operating Costs
We are so thankful that we can give 100% of the sponsorship money to the school in Liberia. This means that each year we need to raise $20,000 to cover the operating costs of the charity.
This Covers:
Bank fees, credit card fees, accountant fees, legal fees (annual reports), printer ink, paper, postage, printing, honorarium for Esther, etc.

Annual May Walkathon
Each year in May we come together to raise money for administration through a walkathon and BBQ.
The staff in our school receive a monthly salary between $90-$165/month depending on their job.
To our Canadian standards they are grossly under paid but each staff member is very grateful for the salary they receive.
Each month sponsors are donating a total of $950 CAN toward the salaries but we need an extra $360/month to cover these basic salaries.
